Mamelodi Sundowns announced on Friday that star players Mbulelo "OJ" Mabizela and Sibusiso Zuma would not play again this year because of injuries. Zuma was operated on for a recurring ankle injury last week and Mabizela went under the surgeon's knife on Friday for a damaged knee cartilage. Meanwhile the club's search for a new technical supremo to replace hapless coach Trott Moloto has continued at a frenzied pace, with internationally-renowned coaches Frank Rijkaard, Ruud Gullit, Henri Michel and Bruno Metsi among those mentioned as possible candidates. Kickoff magazine on Friday claimed that former French, Tunisian and Côte d'Ivoire coach Henri Michel already had the job, but this was not confirmed by Sundowns. - Sapa TOPICS IN THIS ARTICLE
