Nelson Mandela's birthday on Saturday is accompanied by a call for people worldwide to devote 67 minutes of their time on the day to serving their community in some manner. This is to reflect the 67 years that he spent fighting for human rights and the betterment of humankind. A good number of those 67 years were spent in the struggle against the apartheid regime.
