Blue Bulls’ wing Bryan Habana, resumed training on Monday and Dr Org Strauss is quite optimistic the try scoring machine will be fit to play against the Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup final at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday afternoon.

Habana injured his hamstring in the latter parts of the second half of the semifinal against Western Province, but he is making steady progress and at this stage there is a good possibility that he will recover in time for the final.

Habana’s Springbok teammate, Chiliboy Ralepelle, is still in doubt for the final after failing a fitness test late on Monday.

The rest of the squad are all fit and ready to fire and judging by the way they have trained on Monday morning, it is evident the Bulls are more than determined to put the Currie Cup next to the Super 14 trophy.—Sapa
