Agliotti case postponed to Wednesday

The case of Glenn Agliotti, sole accused in the murder of mining magnate Brett Kebble, was postponed on Monday.

The case of Glenn Agliotti, sole accused in the murder of mining magnate Brett Kebble, was postponed on Monday by the South Gauteng High Court.

State prosecutor Gerrie Nel asked for a postponement until Wednesday and Agliotti’s defence agreed as the same team is also working on former police chief Jackie Selebi’s corruption case.

Agliotti’s bail was extended on the current conditions.

Agliotti was arrested for the murder in November 2006. He has already told the court that he would plead not guilty to the charge.

He testified in November in the case against Selebi.—Sapa
