Satellite Spaces/The Untitled Gallery is a unique series of exhibitions designed to highlight the revival of contemporary arts and culture in the Johannesburg CBD.

The Untitled Gallery is a “satellite gallery” that utilises a different, redeveloped location and a different medium for each individual show.

The initiative aims to celebrate rejuvenation in the inner city while creating a platform on which all mediums of contemporary artistic expression can be showcased in the city’s interesting urban spaces. The first exhibition in the series will be The Painters Show, curated and directed by MJ Turpin. It opens at Ourspace on August 27 and work will be taken down by 9pm the following night. Featured artists include Frederick Clarke, Ben Crossman, Shane de Lange and Rasty.

Ourspace, Main Street Life, Maboneng Precinct, Fox Street, on August 27 at 7pm.
