Fifa president Sepp Blatter has reportedly said that goal line technology could be implemented as early as next season.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has reportedly said that goal line technology could be implemented as early as next season.

Blatter told Bild newspaper in an interview that there are systems that are “accurate, fast and uncomplicated”.

He says the International Football Association Board, which determines the rules of the sport, will discuss the technology in March 2012 and could be used in the 2012-2013 season if approved.
