NOTICE TO SERVICE PROVIDERS

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) No: 130/29/05/2012

The provision of services for Undertaking the Study leading to the Review of
the Space Affairs Act No. 84 of 1993, as amended in 1995, for the Aerospace
Industry Support Initiative (AISI), an initiative of the dti

The CSIR hereby invites proposals from suitably-qualifi ed service provider(s) to
provide consultancy support to the Aerospace Industry Support Initiative (AISI)
in undertaking the study leading to the review of the Space Affairs Act No. 84
of 1993, as amended in 1995.

An RFP document for interested service provider(s) is available on the CSIR
website: www.csir.co.za, under ‘Contact us’ or ‘Tenders’.

All queries pertaining to the RFP must be forwarded to [email protected] with
‘RFP No. 130/29/05/2012 - The provision of services for Undertaking the Study
leading to the Review of the Space Affairs Act No. 84 of 1993, as amended in
1995’ as the subject.

Proposals must be submitted in writing at CSIR Gate 03, Main Reception in
the Tender box at the following address: Council for Scientifi c and Industrial
Research, Meiring Naudé Road, Brummeria, Pretoria

RFP Closing date and time: Tuesday, 29 May 2012 at 12h00 (noon)

Proposals submitted after the closing date and time will NOT be considered.
Proposals sent by telefax or email will not be accepted.

The CSIR reserves the right not to accept any proposal.

Incomplete documents or documents received after the closing date and
time will NOT be considered. Telegraphic, telefax and email registration forms
may not be accepted.

The CSIR is committed to broad-based black economic empowerment.
Preference will be given to service providers who meet B-BBEE requirements.
