Pregnancy Rumours Fly As Beyoncé's Antwerp Show Hits A Bump

"Beyoncé has been advised by her doctors to rest as a result of dehydration and exhaustion and will not be able to perform in Antwerp, Belgium tonight," her representatives and concert venue Sportpaleis said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday.

It added that the singer was "awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision" on her second Antwerp performance scheduled for Wednesday.

Representatives for Beyoncé said in a statement that the cancelled concert would be rescheduled as soon as possible and "other tour dates are not expected to be affected".

The cancellation comes after multiple media outlets speculated over the weekend that Beyoncé (31) may be pregnant with her second child.

The Single Ladies singer is currently on the Europe leg of her "The Mrs Carter Show World Tour", which is part of her return to music after taking a year off following the birth of daughter Blue Ivy – the first child for Beyonce and her rapper-husband, Jay-Z.

Before the tour concludes, she is booked to play a special charity show called "Chime for Change", at Twickenham Stadium, held in association with Gucci to raise funds for women's causes. Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, said: "Thanks to Beyoncé and the amazing line-up of performers and presenters, the stage at Twickenham on June 11 will be filled with powerful voices of change who believe that girls and women everywhere deserve to the right to be educated, healthy, safe and celebrated.

"This represents an important moment in the 'Chime for Change' campaign, but it's only the beginning. The funds we raise will have a major impact on the lives of thousands of girls and women around the world."
