Don't Miss This: Ct Jazz Fest Public Debate On Music Policies

As part of the ongoing skills and development training programme of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF), a debate will take place at the Capetonian Hotel on Wednesday 26 March.

This debate is open to all members of the public, musicians and other interested parties.

Course director Gwen Ansell has chosen to debate which policies we should seek to grow live music in South Africa.

The late American social critic Christopher Lasch said that the job of media is to encourage debate not to supply the public with information.
