This postmodern cut ’n paste approach characterises the show. Titled Exh, it comprises a bristling, brainy selection of intricate collaged paper works that depict history as a crime scene, rife with suspects, law enforcers, props, weapons, secrets, scripts, fake scenery and dreamlike re-enactments. For all its playful fun,Booty is less a celebration than a sharp critique that draws on fresh feminist-edged political humour, pop eroticism and kiddie epistemology to deconstruct and decolonise master narratives.
