He uses diverse media, including text, drawing and performance to create his enigmatic although too self-referential works. The gallery statement says that Wa Lehulere “engages with the spaces between personal narrative and collective history, between processes of amnesia and archive”. Wa Lehulere has previously shown work in Buenos Aires, New York, Lyon and Bern.
