The spiritual and artistic delights of Diwali will be open to spectators of all creeds on Sunday at the Indianspice Diwali in Mzansi festival.
Starting from 10am, 600 performers are expected to grace the stage. With dance the main attraction, the Anavarata Dance Institute has lined up a range of styles as varied as Thai, Odissi, Bharat Natyam, Sufi, Salsa Sepedi, Xhosa and Kaapse Klopse. South Indian and Asian cuisine will spice up the food stands. The sacred cleansing ceremony (Puja Hawan) will begin at 11am.
