Music: The Drums

The Drums from Brooklyn, New York, have gained a reputation for their retro-edged indie sound.

Dubbed by the Pitchfork website as one of those “bands that sound like a lot of bands”, they’ve been compared with everyone from the Beach Boys and Swedish indie-pop crew the Honeydrips to New Order, The Smiths and Franz Ferdinand. They’re joined by Desmond and the Tutus and the Future Primitives, who promise to inject a healthy edge of humour and irony into the otherwise slightly emo proceedings of the latest Adidas Originals Live Performance.
