Johannesburg

The Speke Photographic gallery's latest exhibition CMYK 2012 has no theme and was open to all photographers, established or amateur.

The Speke Photographic gallery’s latest exhibition CMYK 2012 has no theme and was open to all photographers, established or amateur. The result is an exhibition of 57 works from a diverse group of photographers and includes Jenny Nijenhuis’s Laundry Day (pictured), an archival print on rag paper. The only restriction was to the size of the works, to keep the selling price below a predetermined figure. The gallery’s intention is to provide a platform for upcoming and established photographers and to make the art works accessible to aspirant collectors.
