The collaboration between curator, artist and performer Lesley Perkes and co-conspirator photographer-artist Johannes Dreyer produced a public sculpture on the corner of Troyeville’s Bezuidenhout and Viljoen streets that continues to inspire new bedtime stories and performances. This photographic exhibition documents the living, breathing story of this concrete bed and the forces that have shaped it.
