Drama: Callum's Will

Cape Town

After critically acclaimed performances at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown and the Hilton Arts Festival, Thinkskin's production of Callum's Will is coming to Durban.

Written and directed by Janna Ramos-Violante and starring Darren King and Clinton Small, the play is set in London in the early 1990s and is about the collision of two completely different characters. Callum is a cultured man in his mid-40s — an embittered ballet dancer whose career was cut short by an accident that has left him in a wheelchair. Callum is forced to seek assistance, which comes in the unlikely form of Will, an acerbic young man from the wrong side of the tracks.
