Expect the unexpected as the co-founder of Bitterkomix, who is also a senior lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch, turns his attention to land — an often fraught subject in South Africa. The works have been selected for the ways in which they challenge conventional perceptions. Participating artists include Wim Botha, Peter Clarke, David Goldblatt, Pieter Hugo, Zanele Muholi and Claudette Schreuders.
