Mthethwa's balancing act



South African photographer Zwelethu Mthethwa's long-awaited monograph has been published. We speak to Mthethwa and showcase some of the book's images, which provide an overview of Mthethwa's photographic work to date and features the portraits that have brought him international acclaim.



Zwelethu Mthethwa: Photographs by Zwelethu Mthethwa launched at iArt Gallery, 71 Loop Street, Cape Town, on April 22. To coincide, mural-size photographs by the artist will be shown for the first time in South Africa in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. For more information visit www.iart.co.za
