Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is the South African government's candidate for head of the African Union. African leaders meet in Addis Ababa this weekend to vote for the new chair. She is in competition with Gabon's Jean Ping, who is seeking to keep the position which he has held since 2008.
