Chris Brown takes a beating - on Twitter

Controversial R'nB singer Chris Brown was the talk of Twitterville following a sexist and vulgar attack on comedy writer Jenny Johnson, which subsequently led to him deleting his Twitter account.

Brown is a regular subject of Johnson's jokes, and this time he went on a rant following one of Johnson's tweets to him.

"I know! Being a worthless piece of shit can really age a person. RT @chrisbrown: I look old as fuck! I'm only 23…"

The 23-year-old who is still on probation for physically assaulting singer Rihanna in 2009 went on a tirade, calling Johnson a "hoe" and a "bitch".

The downward spiral continued, with Johnson correcting Brown’s spelling and linking to a news story on the singer’s assault on Rihanna.

Brown and Rihanna are rumoured to have reunited after they were spotted together during his tour to Europe. Brown is bringing his Carpe Diem tour to South Africa in December.
