The ANC’s Western Cape chief whip Pierre Uys was suspended for two days after the state of the province address had to be adjourned on Friday.
The ANC’s Marius Fransman and Pierre Uys walked out of a Scopa meeting, where they were due to answer for alleged wasted public funds.

After facing customer criticism, Vodacom has changed its mind about slowing down its BlackBerry internet services.
Vodacom has grown its customer base, while headline earning per share have grown by 29%, according to its preliminary results released on Monday.
Pieter Uys has been announced as the new CEO of Vodacom. Uys, the chief operating officer, takes over from Alan Knott-Craig.
