Microsoft lifts lid on next-generation software

Microsoft on Tuesday gave the world a peek at a coming generation of software crafted to quell complaints about its Vista operating system.

Intel, the world's biggest chipmaker business partner of Microsoft, has no immediate plans to roll out the Windows Vista operating system to all its employees.
