The University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Centre for Creative Arts, under the auspices of their Poetry Africa initiative, this weekend participates in the ground-breaking international 100?000 Poets for Change project.
This endeavour, initiated by Californian poets Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carriòn, sees worldwide poetic action on Saturday September 24 in 500 cities in 93 countries. Poets, musicians, artists and humanitarians will collaborate at the Poetry Africa event in Durban to drive environmental awareness.
