Mauritian Break For Malema After Economic March

ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema flew out to Mauritius two hours after leading the economic freedom march on Friday, the Sunday Times reported.

Malema was transported in a blue light convoy to catch a business class flight to attend his friend’s wedding in Mauritius.

The wedding was that of Limpopo property developer David Mabilu.

Once Malema was seated on board the Air Mauritius aircraft, the pilot announced: “Please welcome Mr Julius Malema, the president of the ANC Youth League, on board.”

Mabilu (42) married his fiancée Phala Mokgophi (38) at a glamorous ceremony on Saturday in front of 300 guests.

The couple had splashed R10-million on the three-day ceremony, including flights and accommodation for their guests. — Sapa
