The above is a partial list of rampage killings in the USA.
A rampage killing is defined as follows: A rampage involves the (attempted) killing of multiple persons least partly in public space by a single physically present perpetrator using (potentially) deadly weapons in a single event without any cooling-off period.
The FBI defines a mass killing as four or more victims.
