UNDP

United Nations Development Programme

UNDP is the UN’s global development network advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. UNDP’s vision is to support countries in achieving the simultaneous eradication of poverty and significant reduction of inequalities and exclusion.

In order to ensure an overall efficiency of our consultant recruitment processes, and better support Africa Region country offices, UNDP’s Regional Service Centre for Africa (RSCA) based in Addis-Ababa has initiated the creation of an external experts roster. The various business areas to be included in the said roster are as follows: 1). Inclusive Growth and Jobs Livelihoods, 2). Extractive Industries, 3). Governance and Peace, 4). Climate Change and Resilience, 5). Disaster Risk Reduction, 6). Gender, 7). Communications, 8). Partnerships and Resource Mobilization/Coordination, 9). Decentralized Evaluation, 10). HHD.

The first round of advertisement has covered two main business areas such as HHD and Governance. The current round of advertisement will cover three other business areas such as:

• Communication;

• Independent Evaluation;

• Climate Change and resilience.

In this regard, the UNDP’s Regional Service Centre for Africa (RSCA) invites candidates to send their applications for evaluation and further inclusion in a Vetted Roster of external experts. The remaining business will be advertised in the next couple of weeks.
