Chemonics International Inc. is recruiting for a biodiversity and natural resources, water supply and sanitation, institutional strengthening, and community development technical specialists, and an operations and compliance director for an upcoming Resilient Waters Project proposal.

The USAID/Southern Africa Resilient Waters Project will work to improve trans-boundary management and decision making for water, biodiversity, and associated natural resources in order to build the resilience of communities and ecosystems to adapt to a changing environment and climate change.

Specifically, the project will focus on the following objectives:

• Improve trans-boundary water resource management across Southern Africa;

• Increase access to safe drinking water and sanitation services;

• Strengthen resilience of communities and key institutions climate change impacts

• Conserve biodiversity and ecosystem services in key areas.

Previous experience on USG-funded contracts or other large-scale, regional projects in the natural resource management sector as well as advance degrees are preferred. Experience working in Southern Africa is required.
