GIZ

The Inclusive Violence and Crime Prevention (VCP) programe is a joint South African-German initiative intended to contribute to the realization of government’s strategic outcome number three, namely “All people in South Africa are and feel safe,” through enabling and promoting collaborative action between governmental and non-governmental stakeholders at national, provincial and municipal level. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) implements the German contribution to the programe on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

In collaboration with its national and Eastern Cape and Gauteng provincial partners, GIZ seeks to appoint a company or consortium of experts to conceptualize, design and facilitate a pilot Youth Leadership for Community Safety Training for selected Youth Crime Prevention Desk volunteers and Social Crime Prevention Coordinators in the two provinces.

The core anticipated outcome of this assignment is that all participating youth trainees will be ready and able to implement meaningful community-based violence and crime prevention activities at local level.

GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with local presence in South Africa, to request the documentation to be completed from [email protected] by 05 May 2017. Please quote reference #83256728 when requesting the documentation.
