The United Nations Population Fund

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) requires the services of a consultant to provide technical support on the development of an implementation framework for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in South African schools under the leadership of the Department of Basic Education.

More specifically, the service provide will be responsible for: reviewing relevant reports, strategy documents and policies around CSE and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in South Africa; consulting relevant stakeholders to gain more insights into objectives and priority areas; and developing a costed implementation framework focusing with monitoring and evaluation tools to track the implementation and quality of CSE in schools. The consultant will also review existing training courses for teachers and provide guidance towards their contextualization as well as accreditation.

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in working in the education sector and around issues of gender, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and with excellent leadership and communication skills.
