NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON SASOL GAS LTD’S APPLICATION FOR A MAXIMUM PRICE, TRADING MARGIN AND TRANSMISSION TARIFF IN TERMS OF THE GAS ACT, 2001 (ACT NO. 48 OF 2001)

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) invites all stakeholders to attend public hearings on the following applications by Sasol Gas:

1. a maximum price of piped-gas in terms of section 21(1) (p) of the Gas Act, 2001 (Act No. 48 of 2001), for the period 01 July 2017 to 30 September 2018;

2. a trading margin component of the maximum price of piped-gas in terms of section 21(1) (p) of the Gas Act, 2001 (Act No. 48 of 2001), for the period 01 July 2017 to 30 June 2019; and

3. transmission tariffs in terms of section 4(h) of the Gas Act, 2001 (Act No. 48 of 2001), for the period 01 July 2017 to 30 June 2019.

The details of the public hearings are as follows:

The extended deadline for submitting comments on the discussion documents on the abovementioned application is Friday, 01 September 2017.

When registering, stakeholders are requested to indicate which public hearing they wish to attend.

Kindly note that if NERSA does not receive any requests to present at the advertised public hearings by the closing date of this notice, NERSA retains the right not to hold the scheduled hearing.
