Tenza takes up the reins at PetroSA

National oil company PetroSA has appointed another acting chief executive officer, Yekani Tenza, it announced on Thursday.

“Mr Tenza, an accountant with an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin, replaces Mr Nkosemntu Nika, who had been acting in the position since April 5 2011,” PetroSA said in a statement.

Nika would return to his position as chief financial officer and Tenza would remain acting CEO until a new appointment was made.

“PetroSA has recently advertised the position of CEO and hopes to conclude the process soon.”

Tenza is a director of Highbury Solutions and former president and CEO of the Foskor Group.

He has served on the boards of Telkom, Medscheme and Tshepo-Themba Private Hospital, among others.
