What happens when political parties go 'posterl'?

The Democratic Alliance Students Organisation's attempt at attracting more black members exploded spectacularly this week.

A poster depicting an interracial couple in a sensual embrace (yes, they were naked) had religious groups hot under the collar and the lunatic fringe linking the poster to anything from Aids to farm murders. We at the Mail & Guardian, however, found inspiration in it and wondered what it would be like if other political parties went "posterl".
