Katherine Jackson – who Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled will not be the children's guardian while on a "short vacation" to Arizona – said in a statement to ABC News on Wednesday that there were "a lot of lies that been put out there" surrounding her family drama the last several days and that she planned to return to California to straighten them out.
Her reaction comes on the same day the Los Angeles judge appointed the son of Tito Jackson the temporary guardian after he expressed concerns that his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, wasn't being allowed to return home.
