A 13-year study has concluded that Africa is the easiest continent to get "sort of right" from memory.

According to project leader Koki Crayola, Europe is the most difficult. "Everything starts off OK around Spain, gets iffish around southern France and then goes completely off the rails where Greece meets Turkey," she said.

"And don't even get me started on the Baltic."

African leaders said that they were delighted by the findings, saying that they were proud to live on a continent with so few confusing pointy bits and fjords.
