Author Laurie A Claase told the Mail & Guardian that Pieces of the Puzzle: A Guide to the Oscar and Reeva Case “was self-published by a team of three as an e-book on Amazon, just seven weeks after the shooting”.
Amazon describes the e-book as: “A case handbook for anyone following the Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp tragedy. From among hundreds of reports and stories online, in print, on TV, radio and not least, Twitter, emerges a shocking overview of the events that led to the violent death of a young woman and the devastating fall of an international icon.
“Through the eyes of the media, of family and friends, of the officials involved and the sporting fraternity, this book summarizes background, gives insights into the cause and details the aftermath of the killing that shocked the world — and lets you be the judge.”
Claase told the M&G the intention was to publish a sequel after the outcome of the case, whatever that might be. The working title for this e-book is: Pieces of the Puzzle: Part Two: Judgment Day.
