  • The Diemersfontein Pinotage On Tap series, which won the 2014 Drinks International Wine Tourism Awards’ World’s Best Wine Event award, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The series kicks off on September 13 at Val Bonne Country Estate in Jo’burg, then moves on to the Litchi Orchard in Durban on October 4, and then Cape Town on October 11.   • In support of his debut solo album Healing Africa, Mozambican saxophonist and flautist Orlando Venhereque is performing at Bassline. He started his music career playing clarinet in Maputo, Mozambique, where he studied classical music. After four years he left and embarked on various workshops and private jazz lessons with a number of local and international musicians and professors. Venhereque has performed with the likes of Jimmy Dludlu, Sibongile Khumalo, Marcus Wyatt, Judith Sephuma, Tucan Tucan, Hassan’adas and Loading Zone. WHEN September 17 7.30pm. WHERE Bassline, Newtown.
