Financial journalism internship at the M&G

M&G Business has vacancies for two interns who wish to pursue a career in financial journalism. The positions will suit young graduates who have an interest in economics and commerce.

The successful applicants should read the media, especially business media, on a daily basis and be able to discuss and debate current issues.

It is not necessary to have experience, but the successful candidates are likely to have a lively CV which shows a track record in short-term employment and civic engagement. Computer literacy is essential as is the ability to write clear, concise English.

The M&G will provide full on-the-job training. The interns will be required to produce content for all the M&G‘s media platforms.

The M&G is committed to promoting diversity among its staff and will make these two appointments accordingly.

The positions pay R10 000 a month. The starting date is May 1 2016 and the internships run for 12 months.
