Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is in in Parliament today to answer questions in the National Assembly.

Ramaphosa is appearing before MPs for the first time since the conclusion of the local elections in August.

Six questions have been set down for Ramaphosa to answer in the House, including two from DA chief whip John Steenhuisen.

Steenhuisen will ask Ramaphosa what progress has been made in setting up a co-investment fund for small businesses, as well as what assurances he will give to ensure members of the executive appear for all oral question sessions for the rest of 2016.

President Jacob Zuma was due to answer oral questions in the National Council of Provinces next week, but requested a postponement to October 25.

On Thursday MPs will also discuss a motion of condolence for former minister of sports and recreation Makhenkesi Stofile, who died on August 15. – News24

The live stream is expected to kick off at 2pm.
