A cultural bridge

As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the arrival of Indian indentured labourers into South Africa, a dazzling array of official cultural events are taking place between the two countries. We attended the opening of an art exhibition at the Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad, which showcased both South African and local Indian artists as part of the "Cultural Bridge from Pretoria to Hyderabad" project.
