Laila Ali follows Muhammad's path to Africa

Another Ali is going to fight in Africa. Nearly 32 years after Muhammad Ali knocked out George Foreman in the "Rumble in the Jungle", his daughter, Laila, plans to fight this summer in Cape Town, South Africa. "There's a lot of love for Ali in South Africa," she said on Friday. "I'm following in my dad's footsteps."

Tsotsi nominated for best foreign language Oscar

The disputed Palestinian film Paradise Now, the tale of two childhood friends who volunteer to be suicide bombers, was nominated on Tuesday for a best foreign language Oscar. The film, by director Hanny Abu-Assad, is competing against, among others, the South African crime drama Tsotsi, by Gavin Hood.

Hundreds of pieces of Elvis Presley memorabilia were auctioned off over the weekend by a longtime collector trying to win back his girlfriend after she warned him, "You leave the Elvis clothes or I'll leave you." Items auctioned in Beverly Hills included three Elvis concert suits, two of which sold for $125 000 and $50 000.
