Request for Proposals, for the appointment of a Transaction Advisor in respect of the proposed Durban Dig-Out Port.

Transnet (SOC) Ltd. invites suitably qualified Service Provider/s to submit proposals for the appointment of a Transaction Advisor in respect of Durban Dig-Out Port.

Transnet (SOC) Ltd. invites all interested parties to respond to the above-mentioned RFP.

A specimen copy of the RFP will be made available for viewing at your request, from the Senior Buyer mentioned below. However, this document is solely for viewing purposes only. Should you be interested in responding to this RFP, kindly purchase and obtain the documents on or after Thursday, 12th of April 2012, from the office of Thato Tabane and Bathabile Mashele, 48th Floor, Carlton Centre, 150 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg, during the office hours of 09h00 to 15h00 on weekdays. RFP documents will only be available until 14h00 on the 04th of May 2012.

Please note: These documents will be available at a non-refundable amount of R750.00 each (VAT incl.) and all copies will be controlled and registered. Responses, other than those submitted against a controlled issue, will be disqualified.

Payment is to be made into the Transnet (SOC) Ltd. Head Office bank account at Standard Bank, Braamfontein. Account No: 00 237 3963, Branch Code: 004805, Reference: GSM/12/03/0428 – Company Name. An official bank deposit slip or EFT statement must be presented when collecting the document/s.

NO CASH PAYMENTS TO TRANSNET WILL BE ACCEPTED.

This RFP shall close punctually at 12h00 on the 11th of May 2012 at the following address: The Secretary, Transnet Acquisition Council, tender box located at the Foyer, Carlton Centre, 150 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg 2001.
