Bieber fever hits SA

Bieber Fever Hits Sa

"AFRICA", exclaimed Justin Bieber's tweet late on Tuesday afternoon. While travelling from Dubai to South Africa, Bieber fans were already queuing outside Cape Town Stadium to get as close to the star as possible on his Wednesday night concert.

Screaming fans sick with anticipation started their Bieber hunt early in Cape Town on Monday night when rumours spread like wildfire that the popstar was in the vicinity of the V&A Waterfront.

But the Never Say Never singing sensation was nowhere to be seen, the only form of communication? A tiny tweet that stated he was trying to get into Africa. Dissapointed fans and overwhelmed securty guards at the Cape Town shopping centre calmed their nerves, went home and waited with baited breath.

It's all systems go now that he's here, and 13-year-olds with high-school crushes as well as middle-aged women with a serious dose of adolescent nostalgia all took to Twitter to express their excitement.

The tweet that started it all:

Dedicated fans camped out in the cold at 6am on Wednesday morning.

Bieber is mostly self-centred. He has a swag-coach, has been quoted as saying he knows how good-looking he is, that chicks dig him and he makes no bones about just wanting you to love him. But he's not all bad. He does seem to love his fans and he made a special effort to respond to some tweets and show apprectiation for those early-birds.

Who said Belieber's have to be young, teenage girls?

Hang tight kids. It won't be long now …
