Australian flag carrier Qantas has taken the drastic step of grounding all its domestic and international aircraft as part of an industrial dispute.
Qantas stepped up pressure on Thursday on engine-maker Rolls-Royce to settle damages related to an engine failure on one of its Airbus A380 aircraft.
Up to half of the Rolls-Royce engines of the type that disintegrated on an Airbus superjumbo this month may need to be replaced.
