The Diamond Eagles defeated the Warriors by 91 runs in their MTN domestic championship cricket match played at the De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley, on Friday. They also earned themselves a valuable bonus point. The Warriors were 38 without loss in the 13th over before veteran bowler Roger Telemachus struck.

The Titans secured their first victory of this season’s SuperSport cricket series when they defeated the Eagles by 231 runs in their encounter at the Outsurance Oval in Bloemfontein on Saturday. It was also the home side’s first defeat of the series and first loss at home this season.

The Warriors’ Lonwabo Tsotsobe finished with career-best figures of seven wickets for 39 runs from 21 overs in their SuperSport Series match against the Lions at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Friday. In Benoni, the Cobras were playing the Titans and in Durban it was the Eagles and the Dolphins.
