Environmentalists have built what they say is the world’s highest treehouse in an attempt to stop the logging of old-growth forest in Australia. Greenpeace and the Wilderness Society used ropes strung from tree tops to suspend two platforms 65 metres above the forest floor in Tasmania’s Styx valley.

Kaizer Chiefs retained their top position on the PSL log when Santos, playing with a gale-force south-easter at their backs, beat Ajax 1-0 in their local derby in Cape Town on Wednesday night. The win puts Santos level with Ajax, two points behind Chiefs. The goal came in the 24th minute from Tyrone Arendse.
