The ball used in this year’s World Cup final between Italy and France has sold at an auction for a staggering ,4-million. Signed by the Italian team which beat France on penalties, it was snapped up by Qatar’s emir-in-waiting Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani.

Fighting flared on Monday between Islamist forces and troops from the semi-autonomous northern enclave of Puntland in Somalia, which many fear is on the verge of all-out war, the Islamists said. But a minister in the Puntland administration denied that fighting had taken place.

I have been divorced for 13 years after a marriage of 23 years. I was allocated 25% of my husband’s provident fund on his retirement. In spite of his next birthday being his 60th, there is no option of his retirement or resignation from his current employment. Please advise me about how I might get "ownership" of my 25% share of his provident fund.

Schools could soon be dishing out indigenous meals to hungry learners. The Indigenous Foods for Poverty Alleviation project, a joint venture between the department of arts and culture and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, seeks to encourage communities, especially in poor rural areas, to grow their own traditional foods.
