Profile

Keotshepile “Mamsy” Jonathan, 32, is the managing director of Jonoago Group, a growing business rooted in resilience, community and hard-earned ambition. Based in the Northern Cape, she is making her mark in mining, logistics and service delivery — industries traditionally dominated by men — with a vision forged by personal experience and deep entrepreneurial passion. Born in Kuruman and brought up in the town of Kathu, Jonathan’s early life was shaped by her father’s industrious spirit. Whether riding alongside him in his taxi business or absorbing his work ethic, she developed a sharp sense of business that would later define her path. After matriculating in 2013, she spent eight years in retail, a period that taught her discipline, people skills and perseverance. She leads the company’s operations across financial planning, team management, administration and marketing — applying a hands-on approach that reflects her strategic vision and entrepreneurial drive. Her efforts have earned her recognition across the region, including deals in the mining sector and features on major radio platforms. Outside the boardroom, Keotshepile is committed to giving back. Her business supports local communities with food and clothing donations — a reflection of her belief in upliftment and shared success. Inspired by her late father and her husband — a fellow entrepreneur — she continues to build a legacy of integrity and impact. Her drive stems from her children and a genuine love for working with people.
