Hailing from the Zulu Royal House of Luzumane ka Malandela and raised in the heart of Soweto, Prince Siphamandla ‘Dapper’ Dlamini, 33, is building empires at the intersection of media, township innovation, and youth empowerment. A former Orlando Pirates youth player, he credits sport for instilling the discipline and structure he now channels into leading Mkhozi Media, The Boxshop Digital Hub, and advising the Township Economy Commission of South Africa. Prince’s has helped shape award-winning advertising campaigns and led the launch of Pop-Up Markets ZA, now considered the crème de la crème of township night markets. As a founder of Kasi Grooming Club, a safe space for young black men to explore identity and masculinity, Dlamini brings social consciousness into every room he enters. Guided by mentors, coaches, and a love for culture, he balances leadership with legacy. “My mother used to say, ‘Kubamba ezigelayo’ — he who doesn’t hunt shall not eat,” he reflects. “That’s been my fire.” Driven by purpose and township pride, Dlamini walks boldly toward the future he already sees.
