Ndumiso Kubheka, 34, is an award-winning economist and the chief executive of the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA). He leads South Africa’s youth agency in driving inclusive economic programmes, policy and innovation to empower the next generation. He previously served as chief executive of KH Equity Partners, a research-led advisory and private equity firm. His expertise spans macroeconomic research, strategy, corporate governance and investment facilitation. Ndumiso has advised global firms across banking, ICT, mining and pharmaceuticals and worked with government institutions on industry risk and growth policy. He sits on the boards of Moody’s South Africa and the Da Vinci Institute and serves as a national expert on the SABS Innovation Committee. He advised the Gauteng EXCO on the Integrated Youth Development Strategy. His accolades include the Gauteng Premier Excellence Award, Sedibeng Mayor’s Recognition and a YB20 Honour for leadership. Ndumiso authored Reflections on SA, with a foreword from the Presidency. He holds an MBA from GIBS and completed the Alternative Investments programme at Harvard Business School, among other qualifications.
