MANUEL TO TALK SHOP IN MOZ

FINANCE minister Trevor Manuel arrived in Mozambique on Thursday for a two-day working visit at the invitation of his counterpart Tomas Salomao. A spokesman for the Mozambican planning and finance ministry said Manuel and Salomao are expected to analyse bilateral cooperation. The pair will also assess investment possibilities, including a huge aluminium smelter and the Maputo-Witbank highway, the road link being rehabilitated to improve overland access between the port of Maputo and Gauteng.
